Worship & Music Committee

This committee has the responsibility to ensure that the worship services of God's house are conducted regularly and in accordance with the Order of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America. The activities of this committee include:

· Recruiting and training ushers, lectors and greeters
· Providing and caring for hymnals and other devotional materials
· Promoting and enhancing the service of the church choirs
· Arranging for the care of all worship appointments such as communion ware, altar furnishings, paraments and vestments
· Consulting with the organist and choir directors on the selection of musical supplies and equipment
· Recommending music settings and schedules for worship services
· Recording worship services for the benefit of shut in members

The work of the Worship & Music Committee is a critical element of providing enjoyable and meaningful devotional opportunities to the members of Hope Lutheran, their guests and visitors to our Church.

Being a member of the Worship & Music Committee offers an opportunity to humbly serve others while ensuring Christians can come to our congregation and worship God through word and music.
